Couldn't agree with this article more. Crouch is an unbelievably average player. How he has crafted a career in the top flight, let alone at Spurs, is unbelievable. I was at the game on Saturday and he was not good. Admittedly, he had played during the week which can't have helped matters.

The facts speak for themselves. He has not scored a league goal this season. He only offers a threat in the air and even that was negated against Everton. He had a couple of chances on the floor those efforts were woeful. A half-decent forward would have at least tested the goalkeeper with one of them.

Why Redknapp likes him so much is beyond me. We're a better side without him.
